For students in Years 9 and 10, we incorporate Cambridge Upper Secondary Curriculum for Mathematics, Science and English, alongside the British Curriculum.
This builds upon our students’ foundations gained from Cambridge Lower Secondary and assists our students to obtain IGCSE qualifications.

We develop our student’s knowledge, understanding and skills in:

7| Cultural awareness


In Year 9 our students study and are assessed for “IGCSE Core” qualifications with grades from C to G this is known as the Pre-IG Stage.

Our students study the following 3 compulsory subjects:

1| English as a 2nd Language +

2| Mathematics +

3| Science (Chemistry/Physics/Biology)

Plus the option of:

|Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or

|Arabic as a 1st Language

Examinations take place at the end of each course and may include written, oral, coursework or practical.


In Year 10 our students take their “IGCSE Extended” qualifications with grades awarded from A* to E.
