Safeguarding Statement

We take our responsibility seriously in the protection, safeguarding and general welfare of all our students. Our vision is to be a leading school committed to investing in the safety of our students as a school where employees and directors work in partnership with parents, local authorities and the British Council in providing a caring and safe environment for all members of our school. We are also pleased that as of November 2017, we are working on a flagship co-operation project with The British Council, Egypt and its forum of local British schools, in leading the implementation of a suitable system and guidelines to improve this area within Egypt.

“Safeguarding means protecting a child’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. It is about working together to support children and young people to make decisions about the risks they face in their own lives, and protecting those who lack the capacity to make these decisions.
We all share responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people,
whether as a parent or family member; a friend or neighbour; or as a teacher.”
